Vietnam is renowned for its high-quality Robusta coffee, with decaffeinated varieties gaining popularity among coffee enthusiasts. Grown primarily in the Central Highlands, on the tropical terrains of the Dak Lak and Lam Dong regions, Vietnam’s Robusta thrives at altitudes between 600–1,000 meters, benefiting from the area’s fertile basaltic soil and favourable climate. The volcanic mountain soil and high altitudes contribute to the slow, even development of the coffee cherry, resulting in a silky, creamier coffee profile with a rich crema. With increasing global demand for decaffeinated options, Vietnam’s Robusta continues to gain recognition for its strong flavour, sustainability efforts, and versatility for various brewing methods.
